There are many parallels between sports and medical entrepreneurship. Those of us who grew up doing a lot of sports know very well just how many valuable business lessons we can learn from sports.

The Attitude of an Entrepreneur
You may remember Mary from a few weeks ago when she joined my podcast to talk about her thriving medical businesses. But just as a refresher: Mary is a CRNA and successful medical entrepreneur.
Her first business was an anesthesia business which she opened in 2015. Over the years, however, she discovered a passion for aesthetics that she wanted to pursue. That’s why she opened her medical spa, New Leaf Aesthetics, alongside her anesthesia business.
Mary has always been keen on various sports such as tennis, gymnastics, dance, and bike riding. As a result, she developed a highly competitive attitude. And oh boy, has that attitude brought her far in life!
Mary wouldn’t be where she is today without sports. But her amazing attitude is not the only thing that helped her succeed.
The Community and Tools That Helped Her Succeed
To set up and run two successful businesses, she had to become part of an amazing community of like-minded individuals and use a few marketing tools to help her grow.
